Melissa is an innovative and strategic leader with over 15 years of experience supporting the development, testing, and commercialization of cutting-edge technology. She brings deep expertise in the areas of business strategy, health tech, life science research commercialization, clinical trials, and hospital operations. Melissa is passionate about supporting startups in developing their go-to-market strategy, validating product-market fit, and fundraising. Melissa is the chair for Women in Bio's 3.8 Initiative which aims to increase start-up board leadership for women in the life science and health tech industry. Melissa has a graduate degree in Medical Ethics and Health Policy from the University of Pennsylvania and a graduate degree in Biomedical Informatics from the University of Chicago.
