Melissa is passionate about supporting startups in developing their go-to-market strategy, validating product-market fit, and fundraising. Melissa is the chair for Women in Bio's 3.8 Initiative which aims to increase start-up board leadership for women in the life science and health tech industry. Melissa has a graduate degree in Medical Ethics and Health Policy from the University of Pennsylvania and a graduate degree in Biomedical Informatics from the University of Chicago.
